WEBDRIVE 6 DRIVER
If you have the previously recalled 387.10.10.15.15.108 Web Driver installed, it is necessary that you uninstall that driver completely and replace it with this.
WEBDRIVE 6 UPDATE
IMPORTANT: This graphics driver update contains a security improvement in the NVIDIA Driver Manager preference panel via a new Developers Tab. Do not launch any other applications until the process is complete and the system has been rebooted.
The installer also requires rebooting the system after the installation process. Do not manually close System Preferences until after clicking Allow in the Security & Privacy Preferences, later in the process. The installer requires System Preferences to be launched during the installation process.
WEBDRIVE 6 FOR MAC
Instructions for installing WebDrive are described.In order to run macOS Applications that leverage the CUDA architecture of certain NVIDIA graphics cards, users will need to download and install the driver for Mac located here. Saving the password is not recommended.Ħ. On the main WebDrive window you can choose to save your password. The user name entered here will be remembered the next time you open WebDrive. Change EnterYourUReginaUserNameHere to your UofR user name and enter your password. There will be a shortcut to WebDrive on your desktop as shown. You will see a Windows command prompt window for a short while and then WebDrive will be installed.ġ.
WEBDRIVE 6 32 BIT
You will not see the windows that the 32 bit installer shows. The second, if shown, will mention the University of Regina. The first one, if shown, will mention South River Technologies.
WEBDRIVE 6 64 BIT
See the Post Install section.įor the 64 bit installer, depending on how your system is configured, you may see up to two UAC prompts. The installer will then prompt with the following window.Ħ. You will see the following window for a few moments.ĥ. The installer will prompt with the following window.Ĥ. Locate and double-click the file you just downloaded on your computer. In the window that shows up it will tell you whether you are 32 or 64 bit.ģ. If you are unsure whether you have a 32 or 64 bit system then click Microsoft web site for instructions or find the Computer icon on your Start Menu and right click on it. For both these downloads you will need to input your uregina.ca (Micro Focus) username and password to perform the download. Save the file named wdrv1800505764bit.exe to your computer. For 64 bit systems click here to download the WebDrive software. Save the file named wdrv18005057.exe to your computer. For 32 bit systems click here to download the WebDrive software. This procedure does not work if you login to a Windows 7/10 64 bit system as a standard user and then login as an administrator at the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.Ģ. Ensure you are logged into your workstation with an account that has administrator privileges. If you are using another webdav client or your Webdrive configuration is corrupted the webdav URL is:ġ. Webdrive is licensed for UofR staff and students to access UofR file services.
Note: It is not recommended to install Webdrive on a computer that already has the Micro Focus client as complications can occur. It is not nearly as fast as using the Micro Focus Client on your computer so if you are on a PC on the UofR campus network and regularly use Micro Focus files you should install the Micro Focus client as per technical note 510. Webdrive is ideal for laptops or home systems that require occasional access to Micro Focus file storage at the UofR. Note that Webdrive is believed to work on Windows Vista and Windows 8, and 8.1. Procedures for installing Webdrive on 32 or 64 bit Windows 7/10 are described. Webdrive software is licensed by the UofR to provide easy access to Micro Focus (formerly Novell) file system drives, like T: and I:, for laptops and other systems, without installing the Micro Focus client.
